The latest Pac-12 football odds have the Oregon Ducks and USC Trojans as the betting favorites to meet in the Pac-12 Championship Game.
Oregon won the Pac-12 last year behind the efforts of Justin Herbert and a defense led by Kayvon Thibodeaux. This year, the Ducks lose Herbert but still have Thibodeaux and that’s partly why they have the best Pac-12 football odds to win the conference.
The Pac-12 football odds come courtesy of Sports Betting.ag who give Mario Cristobal’s team +225 odds to repeat as conference champions.
Receiving the second-best odds are the USC Trojans who have +275 odds to win the Pac-12 South and meet Oregon in the Pac-12 Championship Game. Despite all the hoopla and drama surrounding Clay Helton‘s job status, the Trojans have the best roster in the division and it might be good enough to overcome Helton’s coaching.
The biggest challenger to Oregon in the Pac-12 North is Washington who receives +300 odds despite this being the first year of the Jimmy Lake era after the sudden retirement of Chris Petersen.
In the South, the biggest challenger to knock off USC isn’t Utah who won the division last year and was a win away from Oregon from likely competing in the College Football Playoff. Instead, it’s Chip Kelly‘s UCLA Bruins who have +400 odds, the second-best in the Pac-12 South.
